Festival of Jewish Literature: Elaine Weiss

Join us as we welcome Elaine Weiss in conversation with Sue Sadler, Head of School at The Bryn Mawr School for Girls.  Weiss' book, The Women's Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote discusses the climax of one of the greatest political battles in American history: the ratification of the constitutional amendment that granted women the right to vote.

Washington Cornett and Sackbutt Ensemble

The Washington Cornett and Sackbutt Ensemble presents "A Grand Tour of European Courts" on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. in the church. This program will explore early brass repertoire from Germany, England, Spain, Italy, and the Franco-Flemish region. Employing Cornetti (curved hybrid brass/woodwind instruments) and sackbutts (early trombones), the WCSE offers audiences historically accurate, yet easily accessible experiences of early brass music.
